Daoli Project

Daonity Project This is a project working on applying Trusted Computing technologies of Trusted Computing Group (TCG) to improving Grid Security Infrastructure (GSI), a security kernel of a grid computing middleware Globus Toolkit.

The Project, which started in August 2005, is led and architected by HP Labs China, in R&D collaborations with ChinaGrid, with the following participating Chinese universities: Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Fudan University.

Intended to improve a grid security standard using open and standard technologies, the Daonity Project has been working with the Grid standardization body Open Grid Forum In that front, I co-chair a research project Trusted Computing Research Group (TC-RG) with Andrew Martin of Oxford University.

Daonity system design specification was published in GGF16 at Athens in February 2006. You may download the specification from the OGF website Daonity System Design Specification.

As taking part in a grid computing standard development track, it has been planned that the Daonity system will be fully in open source.

Daonity Demo System has been released on 17th November 2006

README This is the specification of the demo system. Please read this first

DaonityDemo-v2 This is a Proof-of-Concept demo system (executable and source). This PoC? system can work on TPM v1.2 platforms.
