I am a member of the EMC Research China. I received my Ph.d degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University, 2008. My current research interests include Documents Classification, Document Clustering, Information Extraction and Information Retrieval. My doctoral dissertation focused on Web Documents Classification and Ranking.

Before joining EMC, I led the SESQ project http://dbgroup.cs.tsinghua.edu.cn/sesq/ in Tsinghua University, which aimed to develop object-level search engine platform for various applications. In 2004 I visited Helsiki Institute for Informatin Technology http://www.hiit.fi, supervised by Wray Buntinehttp://www.hiit.fi/~buntine/. After going back to China, I joined the Tsinghua-Sohu Joint Lab on Searching Technology and led the vedio classificaiton project for Sogou Vedio Search Engine http://v.sogou.com.
