Trusted Grid Infrastructure
Daoli
Daoli is a joint research project that EMC Research China (ERC) will be conducting, for the year commencing on October 1, 2007, with the participation of three ChinaGrid universities' Fudan University (Fudan), Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) and Wuhan University (WuDa) is to work on Trusted Grid Infrastructure Technologies. Daoli attempts to strengthen grid security by adding behavior conformity to grid computing. We will apply Trusted Computing Group's technology as our means to achieve behavior conformity and we do so by working on virtualization in two layers in the software stack. Click here for details.

Trusted Computing
Trusted computing applied to Daoli, including Trusted Computing Platform(TPM), Sealed Storage and Trusted I/O.

OS and Virtual Machine Kernel
It intends to investigate attack methods to operating system and counter measure.Click here for more information.

Work progress

  • Coordinator of joint research team consists of Fudan University, Wuhan University and Huazhong University of Science and Technology
It is important to coordinate the research activities of three universities for achieving Daoli success. The responsibility includes holding meeting for discussion, assembly and distribution center for period work and joining them to clarify problems and whole architecture. We have held 5 phone meetings with universities to discuss Daoli and achieved good results. The following are draft reports for these meetings:
  1. Click here for Daoli architecture.
  2. Click here for secure migration.
